Attia JZ, et al. - Herein, postoperative pain and opioid requirements were assessed in patients undergoing surgery on the lumbar spine and receiving duloxetine in combination with etoricoxib during the perioperative period. It was found that without significant side effects, etoricoxib + duloxetine when administered perioperatively, afforded improved analgesia and reduced opioid consumption.
