Herreros ML, et al. - An inspection was performed of the utility of urine dipstick tests with the clean-catch method to screen for urinary tract infection (UTI), in febrile infants under 90 days of age. This technique proved to be an accurate screening test for diagnosing UTIs in the study cohort. It served as a good alternative for bladder catheterisation during the screening.
