Percutaneous coronary intervention of lesions with in-stent restenosis: A report from the ADAPT-DES study
American Heart Journal Dec 07, 2017
Redfors B, et al. - In this paper, researchers reported outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of in-stent restenosis (ISR) lesions and its association with high platelet reactivity (HPR). They observed an association of ISR PCI with a considerably higher risk of 2-year adverse ischemic events, with HPR conferring similar risk in ISR and non-ISR PCI. They suggest the necessity for more effective therapeutic strategies for managing ISR lesions.
