Perceptions of pain of laryngeal electromyography

O'Connell Ferster AP, et al. - This prospective case series aimed to evaluate pain associated with laryngeal electromyography (LEMG). For the LEMG, patients appropriately anticipated their pain levels, which could be attributed to proper patient education and counselling before the procedure. Overall pain levels were mild to moderate, and all LEMGs were completed. Therefore, LEMG was well tolerated.
