Hinkle J, et al. - The relationships among suicidality, mood fluctuations, motor fluctuations, and the perception of treatment for motor fluctuations are investigated in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Researchers observe an increased risk for suicidal thoughts among PD patients with untreated motor fluctuations, and thus they recommend monitoring these patients for mood changes as treatment is adapted.
