Ching HH, et al. – This meta–analysis focused on the management of tympanic membrane cholesteatoma (TMC) in children. Many pediatric patients without an otologic history presented with TMC. For work up and management of this condition, CT scanning might not be necessary. However, a transcanal approach with enucleation was often recommended for treatment.
