Pediatric supraglottic airway devices in clinical practice: A prospective observational study

Kleine–Brueggeney M, et al. – This study provides a comparative assessment of the performance of the pediatric LMA Supreme, Air–Q and Ambu Aura–i. Findings demonstrated that airway leak pressures ranged from 16 to 18 cmH2O, enabling positive pressure ventilation with all successful supraglottic airway devices (SGA). The LMA Supreme provided the highest success rates and was also rated easiest to insert.
