Li X, et al. - This research was executed in order to demonstrate the correspondence of a body weight-based dosing regimen when expressed for BSA as mg/m². The body weight-based dosing regimen was determined to be safe, regardless of the rapid administration of the loading dose and the increased maintenance doses. A prominent adverse event (AV block) was reported by just 1 newborn, which resolved spontaneously after the discontinuation of the infusion.
