Pediatric blepharokeratoconjunctivitis: Is there a ârightâ treatment?

Rousta ST – This paper strived to underscore the significance of recognizing blepharokeratoconjunctivitis (BKC) in children. In addition, it appraised the clinical characteristics and current therapeutic modalities of BKC. BKC was determined as a cause of visual loss in children. Hence, pediatric ophthalmologists were cautioned to be more vigilant about early diagnosis and long–term treatment. Better ways to determine the clinical outcome of various therapeutic modalities had to be developed.
