Moreira SHN, et al. – The epidemiology of ocular trauma was comprehensively analyzed among the elderly population. This study also inspected the association between eye trauma and sleep quality. It was observed that the elderly population represented a significant group of ocular trauma in their own peculiar characteristics. Elderly victims of ocular trauma, particularly serious eye injury, reported worse sleep quality than individuals of the same age.
