Marcus KL, et al. - This study aims to investigate features of subspecialty pediatric palliative care (PPC) involvement for children with advanced heart disease (AHD). For children with AHD, PPC involvement focuses on goals of care and psychosocial support. The study proposes that PPC involvement at end of life supports goal-concordant care. To clarify the impact of PPC on patient outcomes, further research is needed.
