Pattern of node metastases in patients treated with radical cystectomy and extended or superextended pelvic lymph node dissection due to bladder cancer
Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations Apr 03, 2018
Moschini M, et al. - Authors assessed the incidence and location of node metastases in bladder cancer patients who were treated with radical cystectomy and with extended and superextended pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND). Results suggested node disease in the limited or standard node dissection pattern was being harbored in the majority of patients. On the contrary, a disease in extended or superextended template without harboring a concomitant node disease in the limited pattern was found only in a minority of the patients.
