Pattern of metastatic deposit in recurrent prostate cancer: A whole-body MRI-based assessment of lesion distribution and effect of primary treatment
World Journal of Urology Nov 28, 2019
Pasoglou V, Michoux N, Damme JV, et al. - Whole-body MRI (WB-MRI) examinations of individuals with a rising prostate-specific antigen following radical treatment by surgery or/and radiotherapy were investigated for disease recurrence in order to evaluate the anatomical distribution of oligo- and polymetastatic disease and the influence of the beginning treatment on this distribution in people. In this WB-MRI-based study, it was not evident that the primitive treatment affected the metastatic status of the individual or the distribution of the oligometastatic disease.
