Patients with psoriasis have different preferences for topical therapy, highlighting the importance of individualized treatment approaches: Randomized Phase IIIb PSO-INSIGHTFUL study
Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Aug 16, 2017
Hong CH, et al. – This paper strived to gauge the topical therapeutic attributes affecting patient preference for fixed combination calcipotriol 50 μg/g (Cal) and betamethasone 0.5 mg/g as dipropionate (BD) foam versus gel, in comparison with the latest topical treatment (LTT) that a patient received. The psoriasis patients exhibited diverse needs and varied preferences for topical therapy. This data could assist the prescribers in selecting the right formulation for the right patient. This, in turn, would aid in yielding improved adherence and better therapeutic outcomes.
