Heng M, et al. - This study provides information regarding the musculoskeletal trauma patients' beliefs about the usefulness of marijuana as a valid medical treatment for postinjury and postoperative pain and anxiety. Findings showed that validity of medical marijuana as a treatment option as well as its role in reducing postinjury and postoperative pain was believed by the majority of the patients. marijuana-induced alleviation in symptoms of pain, as well as opioid intake, was reported by patients who used marijuana during their recovery.
