Lin CM, et al. - Researchers performed this retrospective study to investigate cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) pathologically in patients who underwent direct surgeries for lobar hemorrhage. Findings revealed that severe CAA with vasculopathic change markedly contributed to lobar hemorrhage. The coexistence of severe CAA and risk factors like hypertension, anticoagulants or antiplatelets could readily induce lobar hemorrhage.
