Singh MS, et al. - Herein, the outcomes of pars plana vitrectomy and lensectomy for ectopia lentis with or without posterior hyaloid removal were assessed. Data shed light on the link between the preservation of posterior hyaloid attachment during vitreolensectomy for ectopia lentis with fewer iatrogenic retinal breaks. The choice of surgical technique did not influence the postoperative retinal detachment.
