Overexpression of lncRNA PANDAR predicts adverse prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia
Cancer Management and Research Nov 08, 2018
Yang L, et al. - In patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), experts assessed the PANDAR expression level and its clinical significance. They evaluated the prognostic values from 199 AML patients and 29 controls by using Kaplan–Meier analysis, Cox regression analyses, and logistic regression analysis. Findings showed the overexpression of PANDAR in AML. They noted an association of higher PANDAR expression with poor clinical outcome. PANDAR expression was suggested to be a promising biomarker for prognostic prediction for AML. They noted the patients with high expression of PANDAR to be older and these patients demonstrated higher bone marrow blasts vs patients with low expression of PANDAR.
