Outer retinal layer changes after dexamethasone implant for central retinal vein occlusion
Retina Oct 08, 2017
Parodi MB, et al. - The purpose of this study was to gauge the outer retinal layer differences on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography after dexamethasone implant, for the treatment of macular edema secondary to central retinal vein occlusions (CRVO). The resolution of macular edema in patients affected by any CRVO subform could be promoted by the dexamethasone implant. Nonetheless, a beneficial functional outcome could be gained by eyes not displaying any absence of outer retinal layers on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography at baseline.
