Gan M, et al. – This study was designed to detect the outcomes and complications of radiation therapy (RT) in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). It was noted that RT was well tolerated with adverse effects comparable with non–FAP patients. In 2 of 15 patients, secondary in–field tumors occurred. Due to prior predilection from FAP itself, their risk increased in this cohort.
