Outcome of endodontic micro-resurgery: A retrospective study based on propensity score–matched survival analysis
Journal of Endodontics Sep 24, 2018
Kim D, et al. - Authors conducted a retrospective study to assess the outcome of endodontic micro-resurgery vs primary endodontic microsurgery and establish factors that could affect the outcome of micro-resurgery. Findings suggested similar outcomes of endodontic micro-resurgery vs primary endodontic microsurgery. As per data, 91.6% for primary microsurgery and 87.6% for primary micro-resurgery were the estimated 5-year success rates. The only factor contributing to the outcome of micro-resurgery was the tooth type; molars showed a greater probability of failure than anterior teeth.
