de Rojas T, et al. - This study intended to improve quality of life in young survivors of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) with long life expectancy, with a novel approach. For children and young adults with osteonecrosis (ON) after overcoming acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) could be considered as a novel treatment. Moreover, it appeared to avoid hip replacement and improve quality of life of leukaemia survivors.
