Ní Bhuachalla B, et al. - Whether abnormal orthostatic blood pressure (OBP) offered risk for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), for which a vascular aetiology is implicated, was investigated herein. Orthostatic hypertension (OHTN) may be an independent cardiovascular risk factor for AMD, as suggested by the evidence obtained in this investigation.
