Zasciurinskiene E, et al. - Two treatment strategies were compared in patients with plaque-induced periodontitis regarding the effect of orthodontic treatment on periodontal status. With pocket depth (PD) ≥ 4mm, both groups indicated a gain of clinical attachment level (CAL) and a reduction of sites. Simultaneously with the periodontal treatment, orthodontic treatment could be used in the routine treatment of patients with plaque-induced periodontitis.
