Wu X, et al. - This study was implemented to determine the appropriate mean arterial pressure (MAP) control level for elderly patients with hypertension during the perioperative period. In elderly hypertensive patients who underwent major abdominal surgery, postoperative acute kidney injury could be attenuated by controlling intraoperative MAP levels to 80 to 95 mm Hg.
