Hota LS, et al. - The authors performed this study to ascertain whether the amount of opioid medication prescribed following gynecologic and pelvic reconstructive surgery is insufficient, adequate, or in excess. The authors revealed that for postoperative pain management, the current opioid prescription practice could exceed what patients need.
