One-year retention study of adjunctive perampanel treatment in epilepsy patients
Clinical Neuropharmacology Jan 24, 2018
Kim DW, et al. - A retrospective analysis of retention rate, seizure outcome, and adverse events for perampanel treatment was performed among epilepsy patients in South Korea. For adjunctive perampanel treatment, the retention rate and adverse events in the Korean population were similar with those in Western countries. Moreover, findings suggested that in patients taking a higher number of concomitant antiepileptic drugs (AEDs), adjuvant perampanel treatment could be effective and that psychiatric comorbidity might be a risk factor for perampanel-induced psychiatric reactions.
