One-year results after internal limiting membrane flap transposition for surgical repair of macular holes with respect to microperimetry
Ophthalmic Research Jun 27, 2018
Leisser C, et al. - Researchers analyzed microperimetric outcomes 1 year after internal limiting membrane (ILM) flap transposition for surgical repair of macular holes. In a prospective case series, subjects with idiĀopathic macular holes scheduled for 23-G pars plana vitrectomy with ILM peeling, ILM flap transposition, and SF6 tamponade were studied. The present data indicated that besides visual acuity, foveal and perifoveal macular sensitivity improved, underlining the functional success of surgery after ILM peeling with ILM flap transposition.
