Mergl R, et al. - This study was conducted to investigate the long-term course of sertraline and group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in depressed primary care patients. The authors found similar anti-depressive effects of sertraline and group CBT in the long-term course of mild-to-moderate depression. Sertraline seemed to be slightly superior to CBT regarding long-term global functioning.
