Ahmed J, et al. - The clinical outcomes for patients who underwent transoral microsurgery with potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) laser resection of early glottic cancers were compared with outcomes of patients who received external beam radiation therapy. Results revealed that KTP laser ablation provided equivalent oncologic outcomes as in primary radiation therapy for T1 glottic squamous cell carcinoma.
