Oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma: Histogram-derived ADC parameters are not predictive of tumour response to chemoradiotherapy
European Radiology May 09, 2018
Kozumi M, et al. - This trial analyzed the associations between tumour response to definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and histogram-derived apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) parameters on diffusion-weighted MR images. The ADC parameters did not disclose any notable connection with post-treatment status or tumour regression ratio. In patients with oesophageal SCC, it was deduced that histogram-derived pretreatment ADC parameters were not predictive imaging biomarkers for tumour response to CRT.
