After a mean follow-up period of 16 months, the overall incidence of proximal endoleak after EVAS was 3.1%, with 1.5% occurring within 30 days. Their occurrence seemed associated with patient selection and stent positioning. To avoid the potential of sac rupture, early detection and classification seemed necessary.
