In addition, it assessed the occurrence of concomitant airway diseases. Approximately half of the patients (46%) with occupational CU and PCD exhibited concomitant occupational airway disease. Patients with CU/PCD ought to be enquired regarding respiratory symptoms. Preventive measures at the workplace had to encompass the protection of skin and the airways.
