Moon JY, et al. - This study was performed on US Hispanics/Latinos, to analyze the interactions of accelerometer-measured moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and sedentary time with genetic variants on obesity in these individuals. Findings suggested that genetic associations with obesity may be attenuated via increasing physical activity as well as reducing sedentary behavior, though further exploration of the independence of these interaction effects is needed.
