Morimoto H, et al. - Experts objectively measured the physical activity of patients with chronic dizziness in daily living as well as handicap, anxiety and postural stability vs healthy adults. They also gauged the association between physical activity, handicap, anxiety and postural stability in patients with chronic dizziness. Patients with chronic unilateral vestibular hypofunction demonstrated lower objectively measured physical activity vs the healthy adults, and less active patients showed decreased postural stability. Furthermore, physical activity and postural stability were not associated in the patient group, while there were no relationship between physical activity, handicap or anxiety in the patient group.
