Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation Dec 08, 2017
Siwy J, et al. - This study was designed to test the validity of the hypothesis that analysis of the urinary proteome can discriminate different types of chronic kidney disease (CKD) irrespective of the underlying mechanism of disease. Findings demonstrated the potential of urinary proteome analysis for detecting various types of CKD defined by pathological assessment of renal biopsies and current clinical practice in general. In addition, data indicated that these approaches may offer information to model molecular changes per CKD.
