Zhang X, et al. – The researchers performed this work to develop an accurate prediction model for the malignant transformation of oral leukoplakia (OL) using clinical variables and candidate biomarkers. Results of this study suggested that the proposed nomogram might be helpful for the accurate and individual prediction of the transformation to squamous cell carcinomas (SCC) in OL patients and might help clinicians offer appropriate treatments and follow up.
