Cole JH, et al. - Researchers here aimed at ascertaining whether people living with HIV (PLWH) may experience accelerated ageing-related brain pathology. Findings suggested no increased risk of accelerated ageing-related brain changes or cognitive decline over two years among middle-aged PLWH when receiving successful treatment when compared to closely-matched HIV-negative controls.
