In terms of functional, subjective, and radiographic outcomes including fracture characteristics, complications, postoperative range of motion, Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short Form scores, and union rates, no statistically significant difference was noted between bracing and no bracing following open reduction and internal fixation of tibial plateau fractures.
