Chauhan A, et al. - Authors conducted this trial presuming that no difference will be found between patients with and without bracing after open reduction and internal fixation of tibial plateau fractures. In terms of functional, subjective, and radiographic outcomes including fracture characteristics, complications, postoperative range of motion, Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short Form scores, and union rates, no statistically significant difference was noted between bracing and no bracing following open reduction and internal fixation of tibial plateau fractures.
