No association between surgical delay and mortality following distal femoral fractures: A study from The Danish Fracture Database Collaborators

Nyholm AM, et al. - This article was written with the objective to research whether surgical delay or the educational level of the surgeon is related to early mortality in patients with distal femoral fractures. There was no relationship between surgical delay or educational level of surgeon and mortality. In this population, these outcomes do not support the development of guidelines for reducing surgical delay.
