Ma X, et al. - Periprocedural administration of nicorandil was tested as a preventive strategy against the incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN), via a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs). As per the evidence obtained by researchers, periprocedural treatment with nicorandil may be preventative against the incidence of CIN in patients undergoing contrast exposure.
