Akazawa Y, et al. - Experts employed next-generation sequencing (NGS) to ascertain a molecular/clinicopathological concept of gastric adenocarcinoma with enteroblastic differentiation (GAED) and clarify if these 2 tumours ought to be grouped together in one category. Findings suggested that TP53 mutations and ERBB2 amplification were frequently harboured in GAED. As with conventional gastric adenocarcinoma, the effectiveness of trastuzumab for GAED was seen. Also, subcategorization of hepatoid adenocarcinoma as a solid-type GAED cold be done.
