Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio improves outcome prediction of acute intracerebral hemorrhage
Journal of the Neurological Sciences Mar 28, 2018
Lattanzi S, et al. - This study was designed in order to inspect if the peripheral leukocyte counts and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) exhibited a connection with the 30-day functional status after intra-cerebral hemorrhage (ICH), and improved the accuracy of outcome prediction when added to the Modified ICH score. It was disclosed that NLR correlated with 30-day poor outcome. Findings also displayed that the predictive accuracy of the Modified ICH score was enhanced by adding the NLR.
