Erol MK, et al. – This research aspired to determine the mean platelet volume (MPV) and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) values and to assess their link with clinical findings in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR). The neutrophils appeared to play a major role in acute CSCR. In contrast, the platelets exhibited an involvement in the progression to chronic CSCR. The data warranted advanced studies.
