Hayes BC, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the consequence of following the hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), among survivors without cerebral palsy. It was noted that the children could experience attention, memory, and behavior difficulties that were not always evident at a young age. The adaptive behavior questionnaire could serve as a beneficial instrument for selecting the children requiring developmental surveillance beyond 2 years of age.
