Neonatal morbidity associated with vaginal delivery of noncephalic second twins

Schmitz T, et al. - Neonatal mortality and morbidity were assessed according to second twin presentation after vaginal birth of the first twin. In this study, noncephalic and cephalic second twin presentations after vaginal delivery of the first twin ≥32 weeks of gestation were observed to be associated with similar low composite neonatal mortality and morbidity. For noncephalic second twin, vaginal delivery appeared a reasonable option.
