Gupta S, et al. - Researchers compared the efficacy and toxicity of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical surgery vs standard cisplatin-based chemoradiation in patients with locally advanced squamous cervical cancer. They found that superior disease-free survival was provided by cisplatin-based concomitant chemoradiation, compared with neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical surgery in locally advanced cervical cancer.
