Morikawa Y, et al. - This multicenter randomized controlled trial was performed to assess the efficacy and safety of nebulized hypertonic saline (HS) therapy for acute bronchiolitis due to the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in moderately ill hospitalized infants. Among infants with bronchiolitis because of RSV, nebulized HS therapy did not significantly reduce the length of stay.
