Near and distance stereoacuity in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma
Journal of Glaucoma Jun 09, 2018
Park C, et al. - Experts compared the near and distance stereoacuity between patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and a control group. They also evaluated the relationships between stereoacuity and POAG severity. Compared to control subjects significantly lower near and distance stereoacuity were seen among patients with POAG. With increasing POAG severity, near stereoacuity worsened but distance stereoacuity did not. Nonetheless, a higher proportion of patients with a lack of distance stereoacuity was noted in the POAG group than in the control group.
