Nationwide conversion to generic tacrolimus in pediatric kidney transplant recipients
Pediatric Nephrology Oct 11, 2017
Naicker D, et al. - This paper examined the conversion from Tacrolimus Prograf to Sandoz in pediatric renal transplant recipients nationwide. It was observed that these recipients could be converted from Tacrolimus Prograf to Sandoz with negligible variation in trough concentration, dose adjustments, or immediate allograft function. The number of acute rejection episodes was a matter of concern. Nevertheless, non-adherence contributed to at least one episode. This difference was investigated clinically and did not appear to be statistically prominent.
